Represented by the colour green, the Heart Chakra radiates the energy of love, compassion, forgiveness, and unity—not only with others but also within ourselves.
The Energy of the Heart Chakra
The Heart Chakra governs your ability to give and receive love, experience compassion, and form deep connections. It is often described as the source of healing, allowing you to process grief, release resentment, and embrace forgiveness. Physically, the Heart Chakra influences the heart, lungs, immune system, and circulation. Emotionally, it shapes our sense of self-worth, our relationships, and our capacity for joy and acceptance.

Signs of an Imbalanced Heart Chakra
When the Heart Chakra is out of alignment, it can manifest in physical, emotional, and energetic ways, such as:
Physical signs: Chest pain, heart issues, asthma, or poor circulation.
Emotional signs: Difficulty forgiving, jealousy, fear of intimacy, or feeling unloved.

Visualise a radiant green light expanding from your chest, enveloping your whole body in love and compassion. As you breathe, imagine this light growing, healing old wounds and allowing you to feel safe and connected.
2. Gratitude Practices
Keeping a gratitude journal, even writing just three things you're grateful for each day, can shift your energy and bring you into alignment with the frequency of the Heart Chakra.
3. Movement and Breathwork
Yoga poses like Camel Pose (Ustrasana), Cobra Pose (Bhujangasana), or any chest-opening postures are ideal for activating the Heart Chakra. Pair these with deep, rhythmic breaths to move stuck energy.
4. Affirmations
Repeat affirmations to reprogram your subconscious mind:
I am open to giving and receiving love.
